         Large fossil C1 Atlas neck vertebra from,
         
          Subhyracodon occidentalis.
         
         These vertebrae are very difficult to find as they are usually found fragmented.  This would have been the vertebra that connected to the back of the skull.  I have restored a few small portions of the vertebrae as well as made a custom steel stand on wood as well.  Will make a great addition to the collection.
