Handmade Green Greiner Marble, 13/16 in, Single Faceted Pontil, Germany, S1458

This handmade light green Greiner marble measures 13/16 inches in size. Originating from Germany in the 1860's era, this vintage marble is in Good+ condition.

 



 

  Type: This is an antique handmade white Greiner handmade marble.  Sometimes called Leighton transitionals, though in fact these marbles are Greiner types and are quite early.  They have a single pontil which is faceted.  Made in the 1860's, many Greiner marbles are now though to predate some other glass handmade marbles.
