Early Squirrel, Ischyromys typus, Fossil Partial Skull and Verts, S Dakota I250

  This is a fossil partial skull and selection of vertebrae of the early Squirrel,
  
   Ischyromys typus
  
  .  This is straight from the field and has not been prepped.  I can see portions of jaw, upper sections, incisors and at least 3 vertebrae.  They were are found together and come from the same individual.  Tough to find these little squirrels lately.
